A known issue for the slave cylinder mounted on the driver's side is the heat soak introduced by the exhaust pipe just below it. We solved two issues in one with this awesome new bracket. It serves as a bracket for the fork return spring (often missing) and a heat shield! Win win for your FJ40 and your shifting in hot environments.
