Finally! A replacement for the long NLA firewall transfer case shift rod boot. Made of a chemical and heat stable rubber for a long life in the engine bay. Carefully modeled after the original.

Should work for years 61-71

We recommend some lube on the shift rod to help slide the boot over and heating the boot so its more pliable.

Replacement transfer shift rod boot

Well, this was a little more difficult to install.But you need to heat the boot, I used heat gun, then a little lube and it will go over the shift rod.It is not real difficult to fit in the firewall hole. Good reproduction parts, thanks to Cruiser Cult! Ed

Super nice OEM replacement

It was a little more snug than the oe non-accordion style grommet. I tried heating in hot water but it didn't really give. I was able to use pliers and stretch it just enough to get over rod end. Overall, it is another great quality CC repro! Keep up the good work CC!!
